Records stay on this device
No registration or login is required. The app does not require an owner's name, phone number or email. Entered records are not automatically transmitted to clinic or developer servers.
The clinic does not monitor records in real time. Records and trends support veterinary consultations and do not replace diagnosis, prescribing or emergency contact.
Stored information and purposes
The device stores information you enter: pet name, species, photo, birth date and medical information; daily breathing, weight and food records; medications and doses; care plans; symptom videos and audio; medical report PDFs; and notes.
This information is used to display records and trends, provide medication and care reminders, and create visit documents and backups. Selected-pet and reminder or backup settings are also stored on the device.
PDFs, photos and notes may contain owner information. Add only what is needed.
Sharing and external services
PDFs and backup files are created when you choose export or share. They are sent to the app or storage location you select in the sharing interface, not automatically to the clinic.
The app does not use advertising, behavioral analytics or user tracking. Opening clinic blog, KakaoTalk or Instagram links is subject to those services' privacy policies.
The app has no built-in cloud sync. Operating-system backups and cloud storage you choose follow the settings and policies of those services.
Optional permissions and notifications
Photos and files are used when you select them as attachments. The camera may be used for photos and videos, and the microphone for video sound. Notification permission is requested when medication or care reminders are enabled.
Basic records can be used without granting permissions. Change permissions and notification previews in device settings. Notifications may display pet names or medication details.
Retention and deletion
Records remain on the device until you delete them. In pet management, choose Edit → Delete Pet to delete linked records and attachments. Deleted item identifiers and deletion times may remain to prevent restoration when backups are merged.
Deleting the app or clearing browser storage may remove local records. Keep app backups separately. Exported files and copies shared with other apps are not deleted by the app and must be removed from their storage locations.
There is no account closure process because there are no user accounts. The clinic and developer cannot remotely access, recover or delete records stored only on your device.
Contact and policy changes
For app or privacy inquiries, contact the clinic by phone or KakaoTalk. Information you choose to provide during a consultation is processed by the clinic and relevant service separately from the app's local storage.
When features or information handling change, we update this policy and its revision date.

The policy above applies to the SUJI Care Note app. This clinic website uses Google Analytics 4 for visitor statistics, separately from the app's local record storage. See Website Privacy and Visitor Analytics in the footer for website analytics and cookie information.
